Woodfired chawan - matcha bowl. This bowl looks heavy and thick but gives a light and warm feeling when in your hands. Textured, decorative outside, the clay is covered with a white slip which is received a strong fire, catching ash and coloring from flames. Smooth, light stoneware clay with warm fire marks, inside glazed with orange shino glaze with depth, and beautiful colors
